چکیده
Rosmarinus officinalis is a well-studied species; however, R. essential oil (EO) from West highlands of Algeria was not investigated chemically and biologically. In this context, chemical composition EOs obtained leaves stem were determined by GC/MS analysis their antifungal activity against Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. albedinis (Foa) evaluated. The indicated that monoterpenes the dominant class compounds in both (oxygenated 84.9%, 52.4%) hydrocarbons (12.2%, 8.4 %), respectively. Among them, 1,8-cineole main component (leaves: 54.4%, stem: 29.7%), which classifies these as chemotype. vitro Eos evaluated through micro-atmosphere direct contact methods. Best inhibitory Foa after 7-day incubation using method relative growth reduction (RGR= 0.398; RGR=0.383) with stem,

Chemical Composition and Antifungal Activity of Trachyspermum copticum Essential Oil Against Alternaria alternata (In-Vitro Study)
Background: Alternaria alternata (AA) is a fungus that has wide range of plant host and can cause diseases in humans and produces a number of mycotoxins. Exposure to high numbers of AA spores can trigger severe asthma exacerbations. Resistance to antifungal drug has been shown in this species. Trachyspermum copticum (Ajowan) is an annual herbaceous essential oil )EO) bearing plant . The ripenin...

متن کاملAntifungal activity of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens NJN-6 volatile compounds against Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. cubense.
Bacillus amyloliquefaciens NJN-6 produces volatile compounds (VOCs) that inhibit the growth and spore germination of Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. cubense. Among the total of 36 volatile compounds detected, 11 compounds completely inhibited fungal growth. The antifungal activity of these compounds suggested that VOCs can play important roles over short and long distances in the suppression of Fusar...

The essential oil of Rosmarinus officinalis L. (rosemary) was obtained by hydro-distillation and analysed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. Sixty-two constituents were identified, representing 98.06% of the total oil content. Oxygenated monoterpenes were the predominant components. The rosemary oil was characterized as having prominent (> 5%) contents of camphor (18.9%), verbenone (11.3%...
